Wholesale FAQ

Planning your order

A practical guide to opening orders, reorders, production, samples, custom requests and provenance materials.

Who can open a wholesale account?

We work with museum stores, independent boutiques, interior designers, institutional buyers and selected corporate-gifting partners. Applications are reviewed for brand and channel fit.

What is the opening order minimum?

The current opening-order minimum is $1,500, with a $500 reorder minimum. Collection-level quantities and case packs are listed in the line sheet.

Can collections be mixed to reach the opening minimum?

Yes. Approved buyers may usually combine Silver, Indigo, Liezhi and Embroidery SKUs, subject to collection-specific minimums and availability.

What are the lead times?

Ready stock normally ships within five business days. Made-to-order work typically requires six to ten weeks after quantities and payment terms are confirmed.

Are samples available?

Samples are reviewed case by case for qualified accounts and design projects. Sample charges and freight are confirmed before dispatch.

Can colours, sizes or packaging be customised?

Selected textiles and project quantities may support custom discussions. Because the work is handmade, feasibility and minimums depend on the technique and artisan capacity.

Does each item include provenance?

Each piece includes an artisan and village provenance card. Additional staff-facing collection notes can be supplied for retail storytelling.

How are freight, duties and damage handled?

Freight terms and duty treatment are confirmed in the quotation. Shortage, incorrect item, visible defect or transit damage must be reported within five business days after delivery with the order reference, packaging and product photographs. A carrier deadline stated in the quotation may require earlier notice. See the Shipping, Claims & Returns page for the complete framework.

Can wholesale orders be returned?

Wholesale goods should not be returned without prior written authorisation. Made-to-order and customised products are normally final sale unless damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied. The accepted quotation or invoice confirms the final order-specific terms.
